Welcome to heliaca.fi nature- and bird photography web site, which is updated by Finnish birdwatchers Markku Nurminen and Pasi Parkkinen. Most of the pictures has been shot in Finland - mostly in eastern Finland. On the site there's also many pictures from neighbour countries like Norway and Estonia - where many of our trips head to. There are also pictures from Australia, South-Africa and Chile The website doesn't aim to focus on rarity birds, but high quality pictures about all common birds. On the gallery there are at the moment 4674 pictures. These pages has been visited 12004 times, after 10.08.2007. In addition there is also already some landscape, mammal and bug pictures. At the moment there's no picture about Imperial Eagle (Aquila heliaca) available ...
